URL shortening

This article explains how to get your own short link for sending email, text & SMS messages

SMS/Text Messages and Emails can be sent out using a nice short link. By default it uses the domain glide.st. These are normally nice and short like stck.to.

To start using one:

  1. Buy a short domain name
  2. Configure the URL Shortener integration with your short domain name (Settings -> Integrations -> URL Shortener)
  3. Add the A, AAAA and CNAME records to your DNS
  4. Press Save and the system will check that all records have been added correctly. As DNS records can take some time to propogate we'll check in the background. Once we detect the records are in place we'll start sending your links out with the new short domain.
